Where Do Faraday Future’s FF 91 Stands Compared to its biggest rivals? – Detailed Comparison With Top 7 Other Electric Vehicles (incl. Infographic)

Faraday Future’s FF 91 is here and Faraday Future is one of the newest competitors in the automotive industry. A few hours ago, they just unveiled its all new electric car named “FF 91” few hours ago at Consumer Electronic Show 2017.

With the current paradigm shift in the automotive industry towards electric cars, “FF 91’ definitely brings heavy competition towards the current electric OEM manufactures. In order to understand, where “FF 91” really stands among its closest competitors, I have taken the liberty to dive into comparing “FF 91” with Next EV NIO ep9, Lucid Air, Tesla Model S P100D, Tesla Model X, BMW i8, Rimac Concept_One and last but not the least Porsche concept Mission E.

In last year same time, January 2016, Faraday Future announced FFZERO 1, super electric car at CES 2016. It was their very first official appearance. Until then, the company was operating in stealth mode until 2016 in California.  Since then, Faraday Future (FF) has come a long way. Founded in May 2014 by a handful of industry pioneers, FF quickly gained momentum as a newcomer in the industry. Based in Los Angeles, FF has since opened two new offices in the U.S. in Silicon Valley and North Las Vegas. Currently, the company is building a State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility (3 million square foot, 900-acre) worth $1 billion in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Today, they unveiled “FF 91” which will be available in the market in 2018. The car is planned to be built in Nevada plant.

  • Best in class high-speed internet on the road

Specifications

  • Acceleration: 0-100kmh mph in 2.39 seconds
  • Top Speed: > 321 km/h
  • Power: 1050 HP
  • Range: 608 km (EPA est.)
  • Charging Speed: More than 805 km per hour

  • Wheelbase: 126″ / 3200mm
  • Width: 89.9″ / 2283mm

We have to until 2018 before consumers can actually drive themselves. One thing for sure that the launch of FF 91 at CES 2017 today, definitely delivers the promise of Faraday Future. One thing is certain that the automotive industry is currently going through the biggest change in last 100 years. In fact, the automotive industry will change more in coming 5 to 10 years than it has in the last 50. A competition between players such as Faraday Future, NextEV, Lucid Motors, Tesla, BMW, Rimac, Porsche and others will definitely give more sustainable, capable and more exciting cars than ever before.

Remix OS – New OS is in town & it’s awesome + free !!

Not so long ago, I came across a Kickstarter project named “Remix Mini – The World’s First True Android PC” by Jide Tech, where they were offering a fully operational personal computer for $ 20 (1 GB version) & $ 40 (2 GB version). It definitely caught my eyes for two reasons:

# 1: World’s First Android PC

# 2: Insanely low price

I got my hand on Remix Mini in November 2015, wasn’t disappointed at all. They delivered as they promised. It was cool in design, easy to set up and fast android operating system that the market has to offer.

Well, the Jide team didn’t just stop there. A few weeks ago, in CES 2016, they had announced that, they will release the Remix OS for FREE for everyone. On 12th of January, 2016, they opened the door for everyone to download the Remix OS for free. Before, I go into detail about its features, allow me to explain what is Remix OS?

Remix OS is a fully customized Android. But unlike other Android OS, it has a user interface. What does it mean? Imagine you are using an Android OS on your PC or Laptop or even on your TV, but it feels like a desktop operating system. In other terms, it’s like a Windowed Android OS. It has a task bar, a desktop, and support for running Android apps, like Windows OS or OS X.

Now getting back to its features, it basically runs on any Intel based PCs, even on Macs. One of the coolest things about using an Android based OS, is you can download / use over 1.6 million of Android apps available on Google Play Store. For example, you can run adobe applications. Microsoft office, Chrome browser and what not. Just like other operating systems in the market, it offers start menu, multi-window features, ability to minimize, maximize, drag & drop etc. All you need to do is to download the Remix OS on a USB 3.0. Plug it in and run. It even gets better, you can use the Remix OS on a Windows or Mac PC. It will run without any interference. All these you get without spending a single penny. Just make sure your USB and Computer has the following minimum requirements:

  • A USB 3.0 flash drive that supports the FAT32 format, with a minimum capacity of 8GB and a recommended writing speed of 20MB/s.
  • A CPU with 64-bit compatibility.

The team behind Remix OS, is just not from any other company. This is just the beginning and they are here to change the world of technology. I am personally convinced after using my Remix mini and Remix OS. Try it out yourself. You can download it here:
